So I think I`ve found my new favorite appetizer & it couldn`t be any easier. This simple man`s plan to healthier eating today are 5 Minute Blistered Shishito Peppers. I served these with a little soy sauce & toasted sesame seeds but really all you need is a bit of sea salt. Trust me on this one, they are a total crowd pleaser. Perfect bites for a snack or to accompany cocktails these are just the Shishitz!
Here`s what you’ll need for your 5 Minute Blistered Shishito Peppers:
Shishito Peppers- a bunch, buy more than you think because everyone`s gonna love them.
Sesame Seeds-toasted (optional)
Soy Sauce- optional (Use Gluten Free Soy for GF)
Heat a tablespoon of cooking oil over medium high heat until almost smoking. Add the peppers & cook flipping occasionally until they char & blister a bit, 3-4 minutes.
Remove to a plate & sprinkle with a little sea salt & toasted sesame seeds if desired. Serve immediately, alone or with a little soy sauce. (Use Gluten Free Soy for GF)
